Teaching

Dr. Hazimi’s teaching philosophy employs the belief that nursing education is centered around theory and enhanced by critical thinking, clinical skills, professionalism, and communication. As an educator, she is committed to encouraging a learning environment that fosters evidence-based practice, competent patient care, and interprofessional collaboration. These key components allow for an effective and interactive process to provide safe patient care. Dr. Hazimi’s teaching philosophy as a nurse educator is also based upon the notion that a learning environment should be a student’s time to learn, minimizing pressures and anxieties, by using methods that are interactive and engaging.
