Healthcare Innovation Impact Program names new director

Clinical Assistant Professor Rhonda Schoville, Ph.D., MSBA, RN was recently named director of the Healthcare Innovation Impact Program (HiiP) effective June 1. With innovation as its core value, HiiP allows faculty, researchers and nursing students to collaborate and engage imaginatively to share their creations and ideas with others in the healthcare community. U-M School of Nursing rises in U.S. News & World Report 2023 Best Graduate School Rankings

The University of Michigan School of Nursing today announced its master’s program is ranked 8th in the latest release of the U.S. News & World Report 2023 Best Graduate School rankings, while its doctor of nursing practice program ranked 7th. 

The Nurse-midwifery program, which is not ranked annually, continues to hold its #2 ranking until the next ranking cycle.

Innovate 4 Change awardees fill a critical gap in community maternal health education

In fall of 2021, the inaugural Innovate 4 Change event hosted by the U-M School of Nursing Student Innovation Ambassadors brought students from the U-M-Ann Arbor and U-M-Flint campuses together to develop innovative solutions to complex health care problems. U-M Health again earns nursing’s highest honor through Magnet redesignation

University of Michigan Health nurses continue to be recognized as among the best in the nation, again receiving the highest honor in nursing.

The American Nurses Credentialing Center announced on March 17 that U-M Health, of Michigan Medicine, achieved Magnet redesignation for the second time.
