Five U-M School of Nursing faculty members earn promotions
May 24, 2021Five School of Nursing faculty members were among the recommendations for promotion recently approved by the University of Michigan Board of Regents on Thursday, May 20.

Dean Hurn appointed to lead U-M Working Group on Culture Change
May 21, 2021President Mark Schlissel announced May 20 that a collaborative, systemic effort to bring about broad cultural change regarding community workplace norms and behaviors at the university would continue with the formation of a Working Group on Culture Change led by Patricia Hurn, dean of the School of Nursing, and Sonya Jacobs, chief organizational learning officer for the university and senior director for faculty and leadership development at Michigan Medicine.

We Dare to create a space for men in nursing
May 18, 2021At a time when many have struggled to find connection and community, two University of Michigan nursing students are building a new space for engagement around the distinct experiences of men in the nursing profession.

May 17, 2021U-M School of Nursing Assistant Professor Lenette M. Jones, Ph.D., ACNS-BC, RN, is one of 10 nurse scientists accepted to the second cohort of the Betty Irene Moore Fellowship for Nurse Leaders and Innovators at the University of California, Davis. This fellowship program, funded by a $37.5 million grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, recognizes early- to mid-career nursing scholars and innovators with a high potential to accelerate leadership in nursing research, practice, education, policy and entrepreneurship.
