Dr. Elizabeth Haberkorn, DNP, FNP-BC, serves as the director of Judson Family Health, an integrated primary care clinic in Warren and as Associate Medical Director at Medical Network One. In this role, Dr. Haberkorn advises on primary care best practices. Dr. Haberkorn and team initiated the Substance Use Disorder Program at Judson Health Clinic, addressing the complex needs of this population. Previously, she practiced in internal medicine and occupational health as an NP, and served as an emergency nurse in Metro-Detroit. She is driven by a passion for service, leadership, and advocacy. 

Teaching

As a nurse practitioner, Dr. Haberkorn has lectured and precepted at the University of Michigan School of Nursing, finding fulfillment in guiding FNP students and emphasizing personalized, effective teaching methods. Dr. Haberkorn's NP practice focuses on disadvantaged communities, where she addresses complex medical conditions and social barriers, like food insecurity and housing. Advocating for nurse practitioners' full practice authority in Michigan, Dr. Haberkorn educates students on regulatory landscapes to foster leadership and advocacy. Her goal is to inspire students to champion evidence-based care, innovation, and leadership in nursing, preparing them to serve with compassion and competence in diverse healthcare settings.
