Dr. Amanda Blok, Ph.D., MSN is a Research Health Scientist with the VA Center for Clinical Management Research (CCMR) at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System and a Research Assistant Professor in the Systems, Populations and Leadership Department at the University of Michigan School of Nursing.  As a nurse and implementation scientist, she has extensive experience in both clinical practice and health behavior change research. She leads and co-investigates projects within multiple interdisciplinary research teams to develop, trial, and evaluate health behavior interventions and their implementation. Her research has focused on patient and family engagement with nurse-implemented innovations in the clinical setting. Her use of nurses to facilitate health-promoting technology is novel.
