The 2020 Sex and Gender Health Education Summit—sponsored by the American Medical Women’s Association, the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, the Mayo Clinic, and Thomas Jefferson University and with the support of the University of Utah, National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, Sex and Gender in Emergency Medicine, Brown University, Florida State University College of Medicine, and HealthyWomen—will provide the opportunity for your faculty and students join a network of leaders that are committed to advancing the research and knowledge to our future practitioners.

We are pleased to announce this year’s keynote speakers:

  • Marianne J. Legato, MD, Director of the Foundation for Gender-Specific Medicine and Professor Emeritus at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
  • Marjorie Jenkins, MD, MEdHP, Dean of the University of South Carolina/Greenville School of Medicine and Professor of Medicine at Prisma Health-Upstate

In addition to offering Continuing Education Credits, this summit will provide attendees with the ability and resources to create a step-wise plan to integrate sex and gender into existing courses with access to ready-made sex and gender-focused curricular materials including learning outcomes, and they will expand their network of intraprofessional connections. Grant funding has allowed us to heavily subsidize registration and offer students a discounted registration rate. For more information and to register, go to:
