The Palliative/End-of-Life (EOL) Care Conference provides healthcare team members competencies in basic palliative care in all healthcare settings.

Learning Outcomes:

The goals of the Palliative/End-of-Life Care Conference for the interdisciplinary team are to:

• Provide health care team members with knowledge to deliver quality Palliative/EOL care

• Identify supportive strategies amongst interdisciplinary team members to assist patients and families in difficult decision making

• Support and foster development of resiliency in health care providers in Palliative/EOL care

This conference is designed for Michigan Medicine multidisciplinary staff, including Nurses, Social Workers, Spiritual Care staff, Residents/Physicians, Pharmacists, Physical/Occupational/Respiratory Therapists, and Child Life Experts, who care for patients with Palliative and End-of-Life care needs.
