Dr. Charles "Tad" Smith Memorial Service

We am saddened to inform everyone that Charles "Tad" Smith passed away this late August. Tad was a long-time member of the Department of Pharmacology and had recently started his furlough leave year earlier this Spring. Tad joined the pharmacology faculty beginning in 1966 and for many years, had not only an active research program in the department, but significant teaching  responsibilities, particularly with our pharmacology nursing courses. He was also actively engaged in many university service organizations and served on a number of national governance organizations.
