Dr. Dozier is a University of Michigan President’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Systems, Populations, and Leadership. As a public health social scientist trained in epidemiology and demography, her research focuses on multilevel factors influencing reproductive decision-making, equitable access to contraception and abortion care, and gender-based violence prevention and response. Her current research explores the intersection of reproductive health and gender-based violence, with an emphasis on coercive partner interference in contraceptive use, pregnancy, and abortion in both the U.S. and sub-Saharan Africa.
