Katherine is an Emergency Nurse Practitioner, with over 10 years practicing in a variety of emergency departments and communities.  Most recently she practiced in Guam, where she introduced the role of the Emergency Nurse Practitioner to the Western Pacific.  Her focus has largely been on improving healthcare access in resource-limited settings around the world.  Now stateside, she aims to  increase awareness of and advocate for the elevation of the advanced practice role, particularly in emergency medicine.
