The University of Michigan School of Nursing has again earned national recognition for excellence in graduate education, with its Doctor of Nursing Practice program ranked #4 in the nation and its Master of Science in Nursing program ranked #6, according to the latest list of top nursing programs from U.S. News & World Report.
Additionally, the school earned national recognition across several specialty areas in the latest release. Among them:

- DNP Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – #6
- DNP Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner – #7
The rankings highlight the school’s continued excellence in preparing advanced practice nurses, clinical leaders and scholars who are improving health care outcomes across communities. The annual report evaluates graduate nursing programs across the country based on factors such as faculty resources, peer assessment and program quality.
