UMSN Graduate Programs Shine in U.S. News & World Report's 2025 Rankings
Once again, the University of Michigan School of Nursing’s (UMSN) graduate programs have been recognized among the top in the nation by U.S. News & World Report's 2025 Best Colleges rankings. This consistent recognition reaffirms the program's commitment to excellence in nursing education and its role in shaping future health care leaders.
Notably, both the Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) program (no. 8) and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program (no. 6) are ranked within the top 10 nationally. Additionally, specialized graduate program areas, including Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner MSN (no. 8) and Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner DNP (no. 9) and Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner DNP (no. 6), are also ranked within the top 10.
Of particular distinction, UMSN’s Nurse-Midwifery program stands proudly within the top 3 in the nation, marking its excellence as evaluated by peer assessment.
