Implementation committee

Strategic plans won't work without implementation. To facilitate this and spread leadership through the school, UMSN's Implementation Committee for DEI works on multiple fronts. Committee membership changes every year. 

Culture Champions

The Culture Champions are a group of faculty and staff who work to find ways to increase communication and transparency at UMSN, increasing conflict management skills for all employees at the school. Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs Cynthia Arslanian-Engoren and Chief Inclusion Officer Rushika Patel provide workshops focused on workplace culture. These workshops are a part of a school wide effort to ensure that the culture of UMSN is one in which everyone is guided by basic priniciples of civility, openness, and respect.
