The Office of Community Culture plays a vital role in shaping the academic and professional environment at the School of Nursing. Rooted in the belief that a strong, inclusive community enhances learning, collaboration and well-being, we work to ensure that every member of our school—students, faculty and staff alike—feels respected, supported and connected.
Our work centers on building and sustaining a culture where differences are embraced, equity is actively pursued and inclusion is the standard. We coordinate programs, workshops and dialogues that explore issues of identity, belonging and systemic inequities in health care and education.
In addition, the Community Culture department serves as a hub for initiatives, opportunities and celebrations that strengthen our shared values. We partner across the school and with the wider university community to help foster an environment that reflects our identity as a school committed not only to academic, research and clinical excellence but also to human connection and health for all.
Whether you’re looking for support, hoping to make your voice heard, or seeking ways to get involved, this is your space. Together, we’re building a community where everyone belongs.
