Capstone Residency and Seminar I --- This course integrates DNP residency activities with the implementation of a practice inquiry project in the clinical setting. The DNP residency is a clinical course that focuses on the application of system level thinking and skills to understand and improve clinical practice. Students will also use the seminar and the residency placement to develop expertise in an area of practice inquiry that focuses on the translation of evidence-based knowledge into strategies to promote quality, safety and equity in health outcomes across populations and/or system levels. The student uses collaboration and facilitation skills with their clinical setting to identify need and develop a team based practice project proposal.
