Models and Theories to Inform Advanced Nursing Practice with Individuals, Communities, and Complex Systems --- This course introduces critical issues and contributions of advanced nursing practice across settings, locations and diverse populations. The contexts of micro, meso, macro and networked dynamics are explored as they affect health care outcomes, including disparities, and health care system delivery (e.g. local, regional, global). Students will examine a broad array of theories, models, and methods to analyze the influence of system factors on contemporary issues including improvements in quality, safety, information technology and population health.
