Care of the Family: Infants, Children, and Adolescents --- This course focuses on infant, children and adolescent health and illness within the context of their families, communities, and culture. Students will be expected to apply scientific principles and growth and development to develop and evaluate nursing care of children and families using evidence. Students will examine the impact of the health care system, policy, and economics, as well as legal and ethical issues that affect caring for children and their families.
