PEER - Peer Seminar

This seminar series is mandatory for all School of Nursing doctoral students from all cohorts. It is developed and directed by the students with guidance from Faculty. Seminar sessions may include: 1) guest lectures on advanced clinical, theoretical, and empirical knowledge about health promotion, chronic illness, implementation and effectiveness science, health services research and science, and health policy; and 2) student-led seminars in which students present their works in progress (e.g., grant applications, oral and poster presentations, and manuscripts) for critique and/or discussion. Students will lead selected seminars, with all students contributing to the discussion. Faculty will be invited to particular sessions at the discretion of the students.
