This course addresses critical issues of advanced nursing practice across settings, locations and populations from leadership, systems, and policy perspectives. The contexts of micro, meso, and macro and networked system dynamics are explored as they affect health care and health care service delivery across systems of health care (e.g. home, community, hospital). Students will examine a broad array of methods to analyze the influence of system factors on contemporary issues including improvements in quality and safety.
