NURS 533 - Strategic Resources and Healthcare Operations Leadership

This is a course designed to provide action oriented healthcare leaders with the competency needed to lead inclusive teams in the operations of the organization using principles and practices that are strategically aligned in financial and economic, human resources, strategic planning, marketing, and applied technology principles. Using data as a strategic asset in key communication and operational decisions is simulated. For obtaining optimal efficiency and valued-based care, data driven models and tools are applied and evaluated to address resource allocation and distribution in a range of diverse contexts. Students will become proficient in using strategic business/project planning and organizational goal alignment in diverse contexts of interest to them.
