Location

Description

Join UMSN faculty member Dr. Patricia Coleman-Burns and Senior Diversity Director Dr. Rushika Patel in a discussion based on the major motion picture, "Hidden Figures", the story of Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson. These three brilliant African-American women working at NASA served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit.

The report, Implicit Bias (Kirwan 2014), is a resource for this discussion but is not required reading to attend.
