Dr. Denis Mukwege, OB/GYN and Director of the Panzi Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is world renowned for his fearless work treating survivors of sexual violence and as a human rights advocate in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He and his staff at Panzi Hospital have treated over 30,000 survivors of sexual abuse providing medical, legal and psycho-social care.
Dr. Mukwege will be joined by Mike Ramsdell, Director of the film "When Elephants Fight", which documents the fight for minerals in the DRC.
