The following conferences are excellent venues for faculty and students to engage in nursing research collaboration on a global scale. The Office of Global Outreach encourages you to submit abstracts or attend, and is co-sponsoring some of the conferences listed. Sigma Theta Tau International 42nd Biennial Convention
The theme of this conference is "give back to move forward" and will be held November 16th – 20th, 2013 in Indianapolis, IN.
 
Global Health & Innovation Conference (GHIC)
This two day conference from April 12-13, 2014 at Yale University is the world's leading and largest global health conference as well as the largest social entrepreneurship conference with 2,200 professionals and students from all 50 states and 55 countries.
 

XIII Pan-American Nursing Research Colloquium

The 13th Pan-American Nursing Research Colloquium took place from September 5-7, 2012 in Miami Beach, Florida.  This biennial gathering of nurse leaders, researchers, scholars, and students from around the Americas had the theme: “Global Nursing Research Challenges for the Millennium”.
 
Dr. Antonia Villarruel, U-M School of Nursing's Associate Dean for Research and Global Affairs, was one of the keynote speakers.
