Teaching

Ms. Rolston has taught clinical placements in the Community Health Nursing course at U-M School of Nursing for eight years. To the great benefit of her students, she provides a range of placements at various Public Health Departments in Detroit and Monroe and Wayne counties as well as at numerous community agencies such as The Information Center, Guidance Center, M-Fit and several schools. For her, this breadth of experience is important for students as it exposes them diverse medical conditions and treatments, allowing them to better understand the services and programs available to and appropriate for different patient populations. During their clinical experiences, students conduct a community assessment and complete an aggregate project.
