Ms. Ferguson is an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and currently practices with Younes & Associates seeing patients at Imperial Healthcare Centre. She provides primary care, health promotion and acute care management in the clinic setting, assisted and extended care facility. Her expertise has been in the improvement of STEMI quality metrics by working with collaborative teams.

Teaching

Ms. Ferguson teaches in the undergraduate program in the Division of Acute, Critical, and Long-term Care. Her goal for teaching is to foster students to become excellent nurses and represent the profession of nursing with the highest esteem. She strives to stimulate students to use critical thinking and applying scientific knowledge. Ms. Ferguson has eleven years of experience as an instructor for the Emergency Nurses Association, teaching Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum using both didactic and hands on skills. She has spoken at various Nursing Rounds, Trauma Quarterly Case Reviews, hospital & critical care orientation and The Ohio Association of Healthcare Quality State Conference.
