The goal of the prestigious Hillman Scholars Program in Nursing Innovation is to create a new cadre of nurse researchers and leaders who will develop innovative solutions to major health care problems. The Hillman Scholars Program is open to currently enrolled sophomore and junior students at the University of Michigan School of Nursing.
 
Benefits:
  • Tuition support for the last two years of the BSN education
  • Tuition support during the three year (full-time) PhD Program
  • Living stipend, health insurance, and a modest research/travel fund each year during the PhD program
  • Preparation as a future scholar and leader in Nursing

Requirements to be considered for admission to the program:

  • Competitive GPA and ACT or SAT scores
  • An academic statement
  • A completed University of Michigan School of Nursing Hillman Scholars application
  • An admission interview
