Traditional BSN Program - Freshmen Students

Register as a prospective student to receive information about the University of Michigan, to be updated on the most current events, and to request application materials! Enter "School of Nursing" as your U-M School or College of Greatest Interest and "Nursing" as your tentative area of study.
 

Admissions Requirements

To be considered for the Traditional BSN Program, applicants must have completed high school or be in their final year and on track to graduate with the following credits:
  • 3 units of English
  • 3 units of math (including algebra 1 & 2 and geometry)
  • 2 units of lab science (including chemistry)
  • 2 units of social science
  • 2 units selected from foreign language, and/or lab science
  • 2 units of any other subject applied to graduation
  • Additional math and science courses are recommended

November 1 - Early Action for Fall Admission
February 1 - Fall Admission
  • Freshman applicants are encouraged to apply early in the fall of their senior year
  • International applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible and at least one month prior to the deadline
