This course will focus on providing health care to infants, children, and adolescents within the full scope of advanced practice (wellness, common minor health problems, and acute and chronic illness). Students will incorporate into advanced nursing practice the knowledge and skills of pediatric primary health care, a development focus, and theoretical and conceptual perspectives important for the care of children across multiple settings.
